Christmas is back! And this time, it's personal.

My final card in the stained glass series this year. This one's my favourite: Hark the Herald Angels Swing. This is the piece that really made me enjoying painting again - it was so lovely to try different colour palettes than normal and get to apply it like this.

Only one more Christmassy post to go now... honest.

Christmas is coming!

As an avid fan of Christmas, I tend to do quite a lot of Christmas card designs. I'll be popping them up over the next few weeks ready for the big day!

Mermaid Surprise!

Here's one of the pieces I did using coloured line instead of the usual black. I quite like it! Although it won't be appropriate for everything, it's always good to try something different.

Enjoyed trying to get the light and doing the bubbles anyway. Underwater pictures are fun!

Bats and Anchors and Apples, Oh My!

Some more pattern designs! Including a festively appropriate Bat design. Hooray for Halloween!

Experimenting a bit with coloured line, instead of my usual black, and the complete absence of line (gasp!). Might try some characters like this as well. Always good to mix it up!

Another little pattern design. I like clouds, clouds are cool. And strangely emotive.

A new book cover design from one of my concept pieces I had floating about and my Amelia piece as a cover design - hoorah for retro fonts!

Tiger Tiger

Here is a tiger. I had to have a break in drawing sweet things for a children's book I'm working on, so this tiger popped up to help me. Ink and acrylic.

Foxes, foxes everywhere...

Here's some of the work I've been doing for Bright since February!

I do like foxes. I saw three playing in the snow when it was really cold and so I wanted to draw them. Foxes are really funny in the snow. And ever so bouncy.

3x3 Pro Show

Ok, so I'm a terrible, terrible person that doesn't update nearly enough... but on the bright side I'm a terrible, terrible person that got into the 3x3 Pro Show 2010!

I looove 3x3 mag. I drool over it everytime I go into a proper book shop and now I'm actually going to be in it! Win. I entered my Peter and the Wolf piece into the unpublished category and the magazine comes out in the autumn. Or 'fall'. You get the idea.

The Bright Agency

So the biggest news is that I've gots me an agent!

The lovely people at Bright have asked to represent me, so the next few weeks I shall be beavering away getting everything ready for them so they can take my stuff to show people.

Hooraaaayyy! I'm ever so excited, and now I have to go get started.

Arm of Darkness

One of the fictional movie posters I've been working on. Arm of Darkness is the result of a garbled msn message that actually sounded like a pretty ace movie.

Released in cinemas whenever my friends invariably decide it needs to be made.

Quick update - been working on a bunch of posters - mostly on fictional films, but have had time to do a little commission for a good luck card... and here it is!

Done in papercut on card. Monsters creeping in again - probably should do something with that.
