Hello all!
This week I've finally opened the shop area of my site and will be selling my artwork from there, including some of the prints from my recent exhibition. There are some prints there ready to buy now, with more to follow. I'll also be selling badges and postcards in the near future, so it's all systems go!
Head on over!

Shirts and shows!
In the interim I've been making illustration-themed presents again (I do love making presents) and this one is a b-movie poster t-shirt design. Which, as you can imagine, was incredibly fun to make. T-shirt design is always something I've wanted to have a go at and doing this has definitely made me want to do more. I'll guess you'll have to watch this space!

Exhibition!
Hey guys!
I've been busy working on some new pieces, and if you want to check them out then get yourself along to the 100 Years Gallery in Hoxton!
The exhibition is with my fantastic fellow Hurdy Gurdy peeps and we'll be running events and workshops during the two weeks of the exhibition! We opened the show on Thursday with live window drawing. Today is Toy-making and hand-made instruments - AWESOME!
We've even ended up on the First Thursdays site so hooray!
For more info on what's going on check out the 100 Years Gallery or our Hurdy Gurdy blog.
See you soon!

Trying new things AKA My Concentration Face
So today I tried observational drawing using my computer and my precious wacom. It's not something I normally do, but I'm always super impressed with those who do, so I wanted to give it a go.
I'm pretty pleased with the results for a first try (despite my slightly grumpy expression - that's my concentration face), and it's definitely given me food for thought in terms of what I might do in the future.
I've also moved back home to concentrate on my illustration work (and getting better) so exciting times all round.
Hooray!

Updates
Hey Guys!
Just to let you know I've updated my website a little to include some more examples from my portfolio and my sketchbooks. Feel free to check it out!
In other news I've been trying my hand at other disciplines to try and renew some of those skills in my other work. Painting mostly, but also making letters out of crayons. As you do.
Here is an 'h'. For 'How d'you like my crayon letter?

Sneaky Peek: New Story
Hello all!
Here's a little sneaky peek into a little story I've been working on that grew out of some character sketches.
At the moment it's just been growing rather organically, which is nice, and it's been giving me more chance to work in a storyboard or comic strip format - something I've wanted to expand on for a while.
This is just after the cat character has taken a swipe at a mouse. I do love me a cat with attitude.
Let me know what you think! Another tale soon.

Hurdy Gurdy Project: One Day, One Event, One Illustration
Hey Guys!
Hurdy Gurdy have a new online project - every Monday one of us will do an image about an event in history that happened on that day.
Mine is today so I present to you the story of Elm Farm Ollie; the first cow to fly in an aircraft on the 18th February 1930!
They milked her mid flight and parachuted cartons of fresh dairy goodness to the spectators below - no word of a lie.
In homage to Elm Farm Ollie (otherwise known as Sky Queen) here is my very own flying cow.
I thought after the recent UK horse-instead-of-cow supermarket scandal it was only fair that cows have a bash at the 'mystical flying creature' niche market.
For more images and more about Hurdy Gurdy nip on over to our blog.
