Arm of Darkness

One of the fictional movie posters I've been working on. Arm of Darkness is the result of a garbled msn message that actually sounded like a pretty ace movie.

Released in cinemas whenever my friends invariably decide it needs to be made.

Good Luck!

Helloo!

Quick update - been working on a bunch of posters - mostly on fictional films, but have had time to do a little commission for a good luck card... and here it is!

Done in papercut on card. Monsters creeping in again - probably should do something with that.

Christmas Cards!

Here are the selection of Christmas cards I did this year!

The Chrimboodle Market went well - despite it being absolutely freezing! I sold 30 of the cards within the first hour which was pretty ace.

Have a good Christmas anyway!

Banner-based fun

My good friend Leanne Moden is a most excellent writer, and recently found the land of blogs.
So I designed a banner for her blog, "Never Trust a Womble", to be found... http://tenyearstime.blogspot.com/ ... here.

And here it is! For the full sized version, check out Leanne's blog, and have a good read as well.

A Little Thank You

About a month ago, for a special treat, two of my friends organised a surprise day for me. They got me all dressed up, took me for dinner and cocktails, and then whisked me off to see Cirkus Cirkor; this travelling Swedish circus show.
It was pretty amazing, and a fantastic day all round, so I decided to make my friends some thank-you notes. (this is something that got drummed into me from an early age, my mum used to give me thankyou note sets in my christmas stocking)

Anyway, here is one of the thankyou notes i did in cut paper; I always think your feelings are expressed more sincerely when there's a risk of serious scalpel-based injury. I've had to wait until they got them, which is why it's taken so long to post... but tada!

Shadow Puppets

Greetings!

My mate Catie works as a props mistress for a dramatics society called YAT, who recently did a production of The Labours of Heracles (better known as Hercules).
Being rather weighed down by the making of hydra heads and giant skeletal hands (don't ask) she asked me to come up with some shadow puppets for part of the play.
So here is Heracles, the Stymphalian Birds, the Erymanthian Boar and the Cerynian Hind. (Background wise: the birds were meant to be impervious to harm and were said to be able to fire their feathers like arrows, the hind belonged to the goddess Artemis and was meant to be the fastest animal alive and the boar... well the boar was just a mahussive boar tbh)

They were recorded in action and projected onto the stage and the whole production was a complete success! Hooray!
